Extending Your Facial Skincare Routine to the Delicate Eye Area

I don’t use eye products. How do I choose the products to use around my eyes, how do I use them? Let’s take a look at my tips and the points that are important to me.

The most important criteria for me is that a skin product does not cause irritation, stinging, acne, allergies and that it is compatible with my skin.

If the following product forms do not cause the above criteria;

  • I can use any product in the form of a serum, lotion, essence or cream that is moisturising and contains active ingredients and/or actives.
  • For moisturisers, I prefer water-based products with an emollient and/or occlusive texture.
  • For humectant products in any form can contain actives and/or actives.
  • As for sunscreens, if they do not cause irritation, burning, acne, seborrhoea, allergies, and if the structure of the product is compatible with my skin, I also use facial or body sunscreens under and around my eyes.

The basics for the eye area

Cleanse your face and eye area properly, keep moisturised and protect from UV!

Best actives for under and around the eyes:

  • Retinoids
  • Caffeine and/or green tea
  • Hyaluronic acid and/or glycerin
  • Ceramides
  • Vitamin C
  • Niacinamide
  • Uv filters
  • Sunglasses 🙂

Don’t forget about integrated care!

  • You can have a lymphatic massage. It is ideal for removing oedema. It activates the blood and lymph circulation.
  • Don’t forget to do facial yoga and facial exercises. I have them all on my Youtube channel.
  • Remember to do skin care correctly and effectively according to your own skin and needs.

Love 🙂
